Both lovable and frustrating
The staff went above and beyond, responding enthusiastically to requests and surprising us with delightful gestures like towel sculptures. The beachfront view was breathtaking, making for a perfect morning ambiance.
While the experience was enjoyable, the buffet lacked variety, and some of the food preparations left much to be desired, which was quite disappointing.

The chef made an incredible crab curry that was simply delicious and a highlight of our dining experience.
The beach area was disappointing, made up mostly of coral reefs, which made swimming or walking impossible.

Absolutely disapointing stay at Amaya! No room service menu in the room, I had to ask multiple times for basic info, ridiculous! Instead of a welcome gift for my troubles, I got ignored. The reception staff wouldn't even recommend a nearby restaurant! woudl ve been nice to actually get some suggestions. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t!

Amazing service and views!
What a wonderful stay! The staff were super friendly, always making sure we were happy. The pool was fab for our kids to splash around, and I loved the in-room breakfast – it was so nice to enjoy my coffee on the balcony with a view of the ocean. One thing tho, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty sometimes.

the amaya is beautiful with spacious and clean rooms. we enjoyed the buffet breakfast, especially the chef making hoppers on request. it’s also right on the beach, which is perfect for a relaxing day. the staff was friendly and even sent us a cake for our honeymoon, which was a lovely surprise.

The beachfront at this hotel has promising views and the grounds are well-kept, which creates a lovely atmosphere for relaxation. The premium accommodations come with noteworthy amenities, including spacious rooms that feel homey and are clean upon arrival, making it a great place to rest after a day of exploring.
Not all facilities meet expectations. the buffet lacks variety and could greatly benefit from more options, especially at dinner. The beach in front is not ideal for swimming, prompting recommendations to venture elsewhere. the gym could use more equipment to cater to fitness enthusiasts. The check-in process was cumbersome, resulting in inconveniences after a long journey. Also disappointing is the charge for drinking water, which feels out of place in a hotel of this caliber.
